We help homeless families advocate for themselves individually and collectively. We work to give our clients the skills and opportunities to ensure adequate incomes, and we work to increase the availability of adequate, affordable housing.
We lessen the immediate pain of homelessness and help families become self-sufficient. Mission Statement: HomeFront’s mission is to end homelessness in Central New Jersey by harnessing the caring, resources and expertise of the community. This crisis not only the minimum wage worker, but also childcare workers, home health aides and security guards the very people who make the economy hum and protect. HomeFront NJ is hosting a Halloween 5K & 1 mile run/walk on Halloween morning (Sunday, October 31st) at 10am, according to the nonprofit's official website, to benefit all of its wonderful programs to help break the cycle of poverty and homelessness in our area. Many local families cannot afford to pay the rent or mortgage even though they have stable good jobs. HomeFront attack the problem of homelessness from all sides, not only providing immediate emergency housing, but also working with families to find and retain affordable housing.
